Jonas Benson MD

Dr. Jonas Benson treats all general urologic conditions. He has several areas of expertise with his primary interest in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Benson completed his advanced training in minimally invasive surgery at Loyola University in 2013. This accredited Endourologic Fellowship allowed Dr. Benson to perfect his techniques in laparoscopic and Robotic Da Vinci Surgery of the kidney, prostate, and bladder. Both oncologic and complex urologic reconstruction were focused on during his training and now continue at a high volume in his current practice. The fellowship also provided advanced training in other minimally invasive approaches including kidney stones and modern techniques in transurethral procedures on the prostate.

Dr. Benson graduated with Honors from the University of Iowa. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri. Finishing near the top of his medical school class allowed him the opportunity to obtain his general urologic training at Rush University in Chicago. This residency provided a foundation in general urologic care even in complex situations. This includes prostate health (BPH and prostate cancer), kidney stones, male/female incontinence, infertility (vasectomy and vasectomy reversal), and erectile dysfunction/Peyronie's disease. He provides all management options for erectile dysfunction and is a high-volume surgeon in the treatment of severe erectile dysfunction performing penile implant surgery.

Whether it is basic or complex urologic problems, Dr. Benson has the training, experience, and expertise necessary to address these issues.

Dr. Benson was born and raised in the Midwest and currently lives in Wheaton, IL. He enjoys spending his time away from work with his family.
